Zaya Learning Labs

Zaya (check out www.Zaya.org) is a company that uses technology to create new ways to solve big problems in education.

Back in 2012, we started by tackling a huge issue - providing good education to over a billion kids worldwide who don't have internet access. We did this through our award-winning tool called ClassCloud. It allowed kids in places like Indonesia, India, and Mongolia to get access to great educational materials designed just for them, at prices they could afford.

After spending five years making high tech education products, we've expanded our goals. Now, we're also working on making learning systems better for everyone. We're creating powerful tools to train teachers and make schools run more smoothly.

Our products have given more than 2 million hours of learning to schools in poorer areas, and we've trained over 6000 teachers to use technology in their classrooms. We got financial support from Microsoft's Affordable Access Initiative, DBS Bank, Pearson, Marico, and others, and have partnered with top NGOs like the Hans Foundation to carry out projects.

Our mission is to make big, lasting changes to the way people learn.
